The Secondary Education program leads to a Michigan Secondary Standard Teaching Certificate for teaching in grades 6-12. Visual Arts Education majors receive a K-12 certification. The B.S./B.A. in Secondary Education provides an excellent opportunity for students who are interested in making a difference in the lives of young scholars and for those who are pursuing careers in K-12 education.
